Some people are saying that 2016 is the "Vintage of dreams" I am not sure it quite lives up to that but as far as the grape harvest is concerned we can't complain. 

The Ortega and Pinot Noir ripened earlier and the quality was good. WE also picked our first crop of Bacchus and will be releasing a small but perfectly made Fenny Castle Bacchus Reserve in 2017. It will only be a limited release so let me know if you would like a few bottles.

The wines are all in tank and barrel now and are tasting well, particularly the Ortega which you could bottle now as it has cleared perfectly. 

Our contract winemaking has expanded this year with a parcel of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier for a neighbour. All is in French oak and is coming along well.
