Tor Cider Single Orchard Ciders 4 x 3 bottles

from £40.00

We now have five single orchard blend ciders, each reflecting the individual mix of bitter sweet and bitter sharp apples found in each location.

Single Barrel is the best barrel of the year and has been fermented and matured for over a year in American oak barrels. It is a dry vintage cider with depth and body and a soft vanilla undercurrent from the time in oak.

Monks Ford is more traditional in style being mostly bitter sweet fruit. Matured in French oak barrels this vintage dry cider has weight and spiciness.

Fenny Castle is made from apples from Myrtle's orchard and has a great mix of cider fruit as well as some lovely russets. This fresh young cider has lively acidity and a clean apply character.

Little Burcott. This is the second year of making cider from this wonderful orchard on the edge of Wells and I am pleased to say that our initial impressions have proved correct. The cider is both traditional and innovative with a freshness and depth of flavour that we haven't achieved before. Bottling early off the fermentation lees adds to the complex flavours.

Yarley Hill this year is made from a single variety called Howgate and has been maturing for two years in tank. The result is a gentle rounded cider with soft tannin and acidity. Sweetened slightly to be more off dry to medium in style.

These ciders can be collected from the cellar door or at one of our weekly markets, or we can deliver at a cost of £15. Please call 07970 162 798 if you need more details.
